The '''Texas Band of Yaqui Indians''' is a State Recognized Tribe signed by governor Charles Perry under Resolution SR989 2015 They are headquartered in [[Lubbock, Texas]]

The Texas Band of Yaquis are descendants of Mountain Yaqui fighters who fled the State of Chihuahua Mexico into Texas in 1870 led by Lino Domingues Urquidez. Population members are over 1300 Tribal Members.
