Template:Sharksportal The Borneo shark, Carcharhinus borneensis is a requiem shark of the family Carcharhinidae, found in the Indo-West Pacific oceans between latitudes 21° N and 4° S. Its length is up to about 70 cm.
The Borneo shark is a rare species of viviparous shark found inshore in coastal areas.
Coloration is brown above, white below, the tip of the first dorsal fin and dorsal caudal fin margin dusky, paired fins and anal fin with light edges, but markings not conspicuous.
The Borneo shark is evaluated as Endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
