Marcus Collins (PhD) (born April 17, 1979 in Detroit, Michigan), is an American Author, marketing strategist, & public speaker. He gained attention in 2009 for his work as head of Beyonce's digital strategy and new media[1]. He later gained wider recognition for his role in launching the Brooklyn Nets[2], and serving as head of strategy at Wieden+Kennedy, New York.[3][4][5][6]

Education
Collins studied his BSE in material science engineering at Temple University and also he graduated with MBA from University of Michigan in strategic brand marketing. Marcus earned a doctoral degree in marketing from Temple University, where his research examined the spread of cultural influences and the processes by which meaning is constructed.[11]
Achievements
Marcus has won the Teaching Excellence Award for executive education and the University-bestowed Cornerstone Award at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.[7]
