Peachtree Charter Middle School was formed in the building priorly occupied by Peachtree High School. After the high school was closed, a new middle school was opened to accommodate the population influx. After many years in the outdated building, construction began on a new building at a different location on the campus. The building is scheduled to open in its entirety for the 2007-2008 school year. Construction will continue on landscaping including playing fields for another year or more.
