Global Politician is an online magazine of politics that publishes analysis of current events, as well as interviews with leading politicians, government officials, diplomats, and terrorists.

The journal goes beyond traditional news and analysis found in media and publishes about events missed by mainstream media. The Global Politician avoids paranoid conspiracy theories, self-promotion, personal attacks, but does allow politically-incorrect opinions so long as they are not hateful.

It solicits articles for publication on its web site, but stipulates that the authors must be notable. It defines this as:

  • Be a published author or journalist; or
  • Have an advanced degree (Master's, Ph.D., J.D. or equivalent) in a related field.
  • Be a recognised expert who has been interviewed in the media or otherwise recognised for his expertise. The Global Politician was founded in October 2004 and is based in New York.

The Editor-in-Chief of the Global Politician is David Storobin, a New York attorney. Before founding the Global Politician, David Storobin was the last editor of the Eurasian Politician, which was published out of Finland beginning since May 2000.
