Nicholas Coleridge is the Managing Director of Condé Nast in Britain, the magazine publishing house that includes Vogue, Glamour, GQ, The World of Interiors, House and Garden, Conde Nast Traveller, Tatler, Easy Living, the Conde Nast Johansen hotel guides, Brides and Vanity Fair. He was awarded the 1982 prize for British Press Awards Young Journalist of the Year when he was a columnist at the Evening Standard, and the Mark Boxer Lifetime Achievement Award for magazine journalism in 1999. He reports to Jonathan Newhouse, Chairman of Condé Nast International and his cousin Si Newhouse, owner of Condé Nast.

He is married to the author and former journalist Georgina Metcalfe with four children. He is resident in Chelsea and Worcestershire.
