Kukar (in Serbian: Kykap) is a small village in Croatia located approximately 3 km from the town of Vrlika under the mountain Dinara.
Name
City is named after Croat tribe Kukari, that had a privilege to choose the Croatian king (besides 11 other privileged Croat tribes).
History
The history of the village of Kukar is closely tied with the history and settlement of Croats tribes in the valley of the river Cetina and Vrlika.
