Adam Blackwell is a former Canadian diplomat. He is currently the Assistant Secretary of Finace and Administration of the Organization of American States in Wsahington. He was Director General of Strategy and Services in the Bilateral Relations Branch of Foreign Affairs and International Trade 2005 to 2006 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Dominican Republic 2002 to 2005 and has also served in Mexico, New York and a variety of assignments in Africa. He first joined Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada in 1980.
