In The Court Of The Crimson Queen is a forthcoming album by Toyah, scheduled for released in 2008. A date has not yet been confirmed.

In The Court Of The Crimson Queen is Toyah tenth solo album project (her seventh full length solo studio album) and thirteen studio album in total including the original Toyah band recordings. The album will follow a new career-spanning 2-CD retrospective album, Good Morning Universe - The Very Best Of Toyah released on 30 June 2008 on Music Club Deluxe.

The title of the album, In The Court Of The Crimson Queen is a playful reference to her husband Robert Fripp's band King Crimson's seminal first album In The Court Of The Crimson King.

The album has been written soley by Toyah Willcox and Simon Darlow, who recently signed a worldwise publishing deal with Zomba/Universal Music Ltd. Simon Dalow has collaborated with Toyah on and off since 1982 when he played keyboards on studio album The Changeling. Other Willcox/Darlow co-writes include Rebel Run, Haunted (B-Side of The Vow), Don't Fall In Love (I Said) from Minx, Goodbye Baby from Desire and Invisible Love from Take The Leap!. Simon Darlow also co-wrote Grace Jones' classic single Slave to the Rhythm and was a band member of Trevor Horn's band The Buggles.

In The Court Of The Crimson Queen track list is yet to be confirmed but does include the lead single Latex Messiah (Viva La Rebel In You) - released as a digital single via iTunes on 29 October 2007, which reached no.6 on iTunes bespoke "iTunes Rock Chart." Other confirmed songs which appear include Heal Ourselves, Sensational, Lesser God, Angel In You, Hyperventilate and Legacy.

The new songs have been previewed by a series of inventive videos directed by Toyah's longterm photographer and collaborator Dean Stockings. Produced exclusively for web/online promotion, the videos can be seen on The Official Toyah Youtube channel. With a new team of visual collaborators, the new videos have seen a return to the image rich and continually refreshed looks created for Toyah's 1980s hit singles and looks.

Material for the album will feature in the live theatre concert show Vampires Rock www.vampiresrock.com in wich Toyah will appear as The Devil Queen. The show tours nationwide across the UK in autumn/winter 2008/09.
