What is the reason that you ban me from the Albania article? All I asked was that a consensus to be reached before we change edit or revert anything.I am Albanian and I know the history of my country.Serbs have not left any cultural marks in Albania(besides Greeks and Romans).--[[User:Taulant23|Taulant23]] ([[User talk:Taulant23#top|talk]]) 21:10, 5 July 2008 (UTC) |

Kosovo Article
Could you please request to lock the Kosovo article. It is purely POV and it has been created to minimize the existence of the Republic of Kosovo. I am new around thus I do not know how to do it. have a look at the article. And the talk page. It is a mess, but I suggest you read it. Thanks. Jawohl (talk) 08:30, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Just imagine what would happen if Alexander the Great returned! Or Pyrrhus, who in his day fought so brilliantly against the Romans! They would hardly be able to recognize their country, but would leave again full of contempt, because it was no longer a home of freedom as in their day. The present squalor is so overwhelming that the author fears he will be unable to convince his readers that Albania was glorious not only in antiquity, but also during the immediately preceding period. Freedom reigned supreme, where now slavery has spread. In those times the whole world looked to Epirus in admiration, where now the only question is whether fortune will never weary of plaguing the country. Kosovo (in list of states bordering Albania)
Hi. Thanks for your supportive comments. I wanted to mention that I edited the Kosovo talk page again and reinstated a highly abridged version of my earlier comment about a dispute going on in the Albania article over how to describe Kosovo. I realize that we need to keep discussions separate here and not put an excessive amount of stuff about one article on the talk page of another article. However, in this case, I do feel that people working on the Kosovo page should at least be made aware of an edit war dealing with Kosovo in another article. Also, since the Arbitration Committee has put the Kosovo page on probation and said they would take action against disruptive edits in "related articles", I felt it was appropriate to put a cross-reference on the record here. Sorry if I went overly verbose in my earlier posting; hopefully what I've put in this time will be more acceptable. Richwales (talk) 04:06, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'm uneasy with commenting directly on the "Balkan mentality" because I don't want anyone to misinterpret anything I might say. Let me just say that the only way Wikipedia can work is if people strive for accuracy and honest neutrality (NPOV). Sometimes, in order to achieve NPOV, people have to be willing to accept wordings and descriptions that they really don't agree with, in order to be fair to a wide spectrum of views. As I said earlier, the best compromise wording (such as, in this particular case, "the disputed territory of Kosovo") is probably something everyone will be somewhat uncomfortable with. I've seen many cases, in many different parts of Wikipedia, where people simply can't do that and end up flaming at each other until someone eventually gives up (or is banned). I've certainly seen this kind of thing happen with Wikipedia articles dealing with my religious faith (Latter-day Saint, a.k.a. "Mormon"). I see that it could easily happen with articles that talk about Kosovo.
- As for working on the Albanian language page, I could probably help clean up some of the problems with English usage in that article, but I would be totally useless with regard to any discussion of the language itself, since I don't speak Albanian at all. Richwales (talk) 06:30, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Could I make a request here that you and Bambyle might move your conversation (currently taking place on my talk page) onto your talk page and/or his talk page? My understanding of Wikipedia policy is that my talk page is supposed to be used for communications directly involving me — which this particular discussion / dialogue / argument really is not. Thanks. Richwales (talk) 15:40, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Moved from Richards talk page by his request ...
- Dear Taulnat, on Richards request i moved our conversation on your talk page!If you are not agreed with this, you can move our conversation on my page or just delete it if you don't want to make any discussions with me! I hope that we will continue our conversation on civilized way i would really like us to continue our conversation becouse we have totally opposite positions on "Kosovo" question, and for me there is no point to speak about "Kosovo" with persons who have same position as me !
Best wishes and regards! --Bambyle (talk) 16:09, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Dear Taulant Unfortunately, you are right in one way ... "Balkan Mentality" that is mentality of Croats,Bosnians,Serbs,Montenegrins,Macedonians and Albanians, and politicians of all those countries don't care about people, they just care about their own wealth and how to steal money from people, they dont care about anything, look just crime rates in all of those countries! But i hope that there will never be war again in Balkan, it was enough of wars for past 100 years! But for goodness of all peoples that dispute must be solved soon as possible, because "Kosovo" will be soon affected with lot of economy problems, i remind you that they are still power restrictions there, lack of water, food, people is very poor there, and politicians don't care about that, and believe me there is no independence on whole world which will give those people better salaries, pensions (unique "Kosovars" pension is 40E!!!) or job (more than 40% population is unemployed) or to release them of organized crime and mafia which is very strong there because of years of self-isolation! That is my point, i don't have problems with Albanians, Croats,Bosnians and Serbs of course if they are good people ... if they are bad people who generalize whole nation because one or two idiots politicians (Milosevic,Tudjman or Haradinai) then i cannot speak with them!Unfortunately there is lot of people in Balkan countries who are still non educated and they just follow politicians , and politicians didn't bring anything smart in those countries for more than 20 years!
With regards Bambyle
- Dear Bambyle,
I am not from Kosova nor I do have any problems with Serbs but I have seen their crimes. Unlike most of the Albanians, I don't like to talk about the past, which was first in those lands, the Albanians or the Slavs, but during Milosevic era, chetniks “Srpski Cetnici” and the Serbian police/army massacred many innocent Kosovar (almost 20.000 women raped). I hope you guys do not forget who started all the wars and all this crimes, not just against Kosovo, also against Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia. So please do not try to describe your self as innocent! --Taulant23 (talk) 03:43, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Dear Taulnat, please if we are talking about war crimes, don't forget to say that Croats Ustase killed more than 700 000 Serbs and Jews during WWI, don't forget to notice that "Kosovar" ex prime minister and his terrorist guerrilla (By USA state department KLA is still declared as terrorist organization) has been involved in kidnapings more than 3 000 Serbs which was later transported to Albania and later was killed becouse of selling their organs, that is under investigations now by UN!Also don't forget to notice that Albanians crushed, burned and demolished more than 2 000 CHRISTIAN churches on Kosovo during 1999 terrorist attacks and later on 17 march 2004 ... please ... in war you always have two sides, of course that Serbs committed crimes (illegal paramilitary formations) but Albanians of "Kosovo" wasn't flowers down there, they also committed a lot of crimes, raping and other ugly and non civilized stuff! So don't try to show Serbs as some savages and killers, becouse you was not down there (or maybe you was in some paramilitary formation?) so you just know story of one side - "Kosovar"! believe me war is something that you don't want to survive and to have in your country! As matter of Bosnia, situation is there almost same like for "Kosovo", there you have Serbs (more than 1 900 000) who was under attack of Muslims of Bosnia, i know that you have sympathy for all Muslims because you are probably Muslim too but dont be so blind! That people also wanted to have their state without Bosnian pressure, they also have parliament, president, flag, but they don't have right on independence!believe me as I told you, more than 90% of Serbs would like to have Republic Srpska which have 95% of Serbs in Serbia than Kosovo with 95% of Albaninas! So my dear wiki friend, please dont show us only one side of medal and one story! Of course that there were crimes, but on BOTH sides!
With regards --Bambyle (talk) 10:56, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Talking about war crimes, don't forget to say that Serbs killed all of their Jews during WWII. I actually own some stamps from Grand Anti-Masonic Exhibition Antimasonska izložba [4].Beside,who started WWI and the wars in Croatia, Kosovo, Bosnia? Albanians did not invade any country nor did they fight other people to take their land. I am sure that if Serbs killed my family I would do the same thing to them. Serbs are know through history to be nationalist and have started the wars in Balkan and Europe. It does not mean they are bad people nor do I thing that all of them are criminals. It’s your politicians and nationalist groups, which instead of getting Serbia close to Europe are isolating the country like Enver Hoxha did to Albania .I visited Serbia 3 years ago, and honestly I did not see any difference between us. The family I stayed in was very friendly. One of the old ladies reminded me of my grandma. Same tradition “Balkan right” beautiful churches, (you can see that the Ottomans and the Communists did not destroy you guys that bad) but the people wore poor from the wars. I believe in a strong Serbia if she is willing to let Kosovo to be free, and show her true face by getting rid of their nationalist people. Will it happen? Maybe, or in ten years we will see another war in Balkans.--Taulant23 (talk) 19:42, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
p.s. I did not like what a group of mobs did to a church in Kosovo, but when all your brothers and sisters and your dad are burn alive….
- Dear Taulnay, i must correct you, in Serbia during world war II there was collaboration government, but even than we KEPT alive most of Jews from Nazis and Croats genocide, believe me, my grandfather was in jail during communist occupation of Serbia after World war II just becouse he saved more than 40 Jews from Nazis and Croats ... so i am telling you, you don't know all sides of story!I also think that we are pretty same (except religion) i really didn't have any problems with Albanians from Albania, we alway have opinion that you are good peoples and our neighbors!Problem is that Serbs will probably recognize Kosovo ONLY if USA and other modern Nazis would recognize same right for Serbs in Bosnia who don't want to live anymore under Bosnian pressure, dont make now argues about war in Bosnia, war was and it is over, like in Kosovo, now people of Bosnia who are Serbs (1 900 000 them) don't want to be anymore part of Bosnia like Albanians don't want to be part of Serbia on Kosovo , but no one wants to claim that and recognize them! I think that they have same rights ad Albanians on Kosovo!People in Serbia are disappointed not in Albanians , they are more disappointed in UN and EU becouse they braked all possible international rules on Kosovo question! So ... as told you ... i could tell you that Turks started all possible wars in Balkan since they occupied almost hole Balkan ... but that is not simple like that, so please don't say that Serbs are guilty for everything, we are also shamed about Milosevic and believe me i would like first to see him hanged on Belgrade street, and i was on demonstrations when he was overthrown! But we are also shamed and terrified about crimes that committed by KLA on Kosovo during war!My point is that war is one shit that only kills innocent peoples, who don't have anything about politics, and those peoples who started war are still alive and enjoy fruits of war, on both sides!Kosovo problem must be solved in UN, or we will be in vacuum like Kosovo is now, in this way, Kosovo will never have any stable future, and for goodness of people down there they must negotiate with Serbia,Russia and UN to try to find LEGAL and common solution for both sides! That is my point! Balkan is one shit hole and all nations on Balkan are nationalists (Croats,Greeks,Serbs,Bosnians...) but that is just we all are very poor, if have salary 4000E per month , no one would care about politics or borders ... all Balkans nations started in modern history some wars and committed some crimes ... you cannot generalize one nation becouse one stupid ruler in their history! I dont put you in same position with kosovars becouse of Ramus Haradinai, and i dont say that all Albanians are savages becouse they haded Enver Hodxa ... or becouse they are Muslims! I really respect all nations on Balkan, but I also respect international law that say that you cannot change borders of one country just becouse you have some interest there!
Best wishes ... and regards
ps ... i also know a lot of sad stories of Serbs who survived Kosovar Albanian crimes ... on one family some savages from KLA burned their children alive in front their eyes, and raped pregnant Serbian women! You have on both sides a LOT of ugly and sad stories ...Albanians on Kosovo commited a lot of crimes against humanity, i mean selling organs of kidnapped Serbians doesn't have much common sense with liberation of Kosovo? ... think in that way also!!!

Albania
Why did you remove that the Bulgarians ruled Albania? Large parts of what is now Albania were part of Bulgaria for centuries. There are inscriptions dating from Boris I found there, the city of Devol was an important Bulgarian cultural centre. it is documented that the Bulgarians held Drach (Durres). --Gligan (talk) 18:01, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. We should add Italians to the list. The idea/support of a single greater Albania does largely stem from what Italy granted Albania - satisfying the cultural aspect. And Italy did in fact rule over Albania - satisfying the second aspect of the sentence. So add them. Your constant vandalism is annoying. We've provided respectable and irrefutable evidence to support our contributions, yet you constantly revert them. I requested of you earlier to provide one piece of counter evidence that would at least show that there is some doubt/controversy in the evidence of my sources. You have not yet provided a counter argument other than saying "STOP ur POV". Go read about what "POV" in wikipedia means and think about it. You are the one committing vandalism and not me. You are lowering the standards of the article and Wikipedia as a whole.Gkmx (talk) 02:30, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- I really don't intend to offend/disgruntle/annoy you by my contributions. That was not my intent at all. The facts are easy to see and comprehend. You don't have any counter arguments to offer and you simply commit deconstructive editing. Please do give at least one factually supported reason as to why you do this. Thank you.Gkmx (talk) 03:57, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia policies won't work in an uncollaborative environment. Your editing here is doomed to fail.It is easy in the "heat of the moment" to forget violations in the face of warnings to cease such activity.Your presence here does nothing but create severe irritation, edit wars, and lots of wasted time. I and other users have provided you with plenty arguments why Serbs or Bulgarians is a bias to add in that sentence.I do not wish to loose any time explained to you what your actions do translate in here. Please change your attitude.Thank you.--Taulant23 (talk) 06:02, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- Idiocy is perhaps the greatest problem in our society. I will take a moment though to explain to you a few points on what you've recently written. 1) There was no "heat of the moment" as you say. This has been going on for a while and as such has lost its initial characteristics of invigorated debate. 2) You cannot cite POV when you in fact desire to block out factual data from third party sources. 3) You have not provided one single factually based argument. 4) User "Kosova d' Ari" (or something like that) has provided constructive discourse on the matter and has reached agreement with me in adding Bulgarians and Serbians. User "Gligan" has also agreed with me. Both users were/are active in the matter. 5) There is no opportunity for bias in that sentence - it is a simple statement. Perhaps you do not have a full grasp on the meaning of the word. Bias would be present in the following case: User A edits "Mexico (unilaterally) established rule in Alaska" to "Mexico forcibly invaded Alaska". Thats POV. Both of the quoted sentences are written from different view points. Alright? The sentence in question (the one you're repeatedly vandalizing) has no place to allow manifestation of POV. If you were to edit the sentence to state that "the following nations brutalized Albania", you would be bringing in POV. The sentence is very neutral as is. 6) "I do not wish to loose any time explained to you what your actions do translate in here." Perhaps because my actions do not "translate" to anything more than my attempting to present rather simple data to an individual of inadequate mental capacity. 7) You are the one who is creating the uncooperative environment by reverting without reason other than your inability to properly use the organ located in that space between your ears. 8) You are welcome.Gkmx (talk) 08:59, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
