John R. Crawford (born 1915, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania – died February 14, 1976, Manhattan, New York) was an American bridge and backgammon player. In bridge he won three consecutive Bermuda Bowl world championships (1950, 1951 and 1953).

In backgammon Crawford is known as inventor of the Crawford rule.
