Meghan O'Rourke (born 1976 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American writer and poet, and the literary editor for the online magazine Slate and, along with Charles Simic, poetry editor for The Paris Review; she is also an occasional contributor to The New York Times.
She lives in Brooklyn, New York and is married to James Surowiecki.
