The American Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Mike Hamilton has worked, toured and/or recorded withBette Midler (1983), Sting (2000), Jay Ferguson (1982),' Jennifer Warnes (1983), Peter Kater (2005-2008), Jack Tempchin (1980), Max Bennett (1989), and Pure Prairie League with whom he performed several of his own original songs (1981 and 1987).The Hamilton original song composition "Does This Only Happen When You Fall In Love" appears on the Pure Prairie League album,"Mementos 1971-1987." He also toured internationally with Kenny Loggins, recording on five of his albums: "Nightwatch"(featuring the hit song "Whenever I Call You Friend), "Keep The Fire"(w/the hit song "This Is It"), "Alive","Caddyshack"(w/the hit song "I'm Alright"), and "High Adventure"(w/the hit song "Heart to Heart") (1977-1983). His collaborations with producers/composers Phil Marshall and Steve Wood have led to many acclaimed soundtracks for movies and television. Recording with Wood, Hamilton is featured on the Academy Award-Nominated movie "Dolphins" (2000) and other MacGillvray Freeman's IMax films including "The Living Sea" (1995), "Everest" (1998) , "Amazing Caves" (2001), "Adventures in Wild California", and "Greece (Secrets of the Past)" (2006) Mike's guitar playing is also showcased on Phil Marshall's classic soundtrack for "Endless Summer II" (1994) as well as on the Disney Channel movies "Johnny Tsunami", "Horse Sense", "Ready to Run", and " Jumping Ship" (2001). Hamilton continues to work on assorted projects, including his own recordings and compositions which are always in progress.
