:In answer to your first question, nope, you don't need references on your userpage. That is only for articles; if you are drafting an article then you can reference it wherever you are drafting. In answer to your first question, nope, you don't need references on your userpage. That is only for articles; if you are drafting an article then you can reference it wherever you are drafting. In answer to your second question, there is the Wikipedia IRC channels which may also be helpful.
