Lepidopleurus fairchildi is a species of chiton in the family Leptochitonidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to Australia's Macquarie Island in the Southern Ocean south of New Zealand.

Habitat

This chiton lives on intertidal rocks.

Shell description

The shell is very small, narrowly elongate-ovate, with an almost smooth surface.

Coloration is pink.

Length is up to 8 mm, and the width is up to 4 mm.
