Micah Havertape (drums) of the band Flaw was called-upon. With the notoriety of their previous groups, much hype ensued after the announcement. In March 2006, once again the band found itself searching for another member. After a long and somewhat-entertaining audition process, the band found what they were looking for. In August 2006, Matt Fortin (bass) signed on with Black Market Hero.

With the line-up complete and an arsenal of new material, Black Market Hero will open the book on a new phase of their journey.

Early before the five song demo, there was album called "6 Song Demo" that Black Market Hero didn't like and only gave to a few people:

Recently, on the band's Myspace all of their songs besides "Popsicle" and "Last Rights" have been made available to buy, with the addition of a new song, "Waiting in Exile." On July 28, 2008 they put up a new song called "Hand of God," and week later "Asphyxiate." Expendable was just added and is stated to be on their upcoming untitled album released sometime in 2009.

In 2008 Black Market Hero released a special limited edition EP called Unreleased Tracks featuring songs not to be featured on the upcoming album. It is only available for a short time with clothing orders from their Myspace page. The tracklisting is as follows:
