  • The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes – excessively long plot. I've already tried compressing the first half but there's extremely excessive details that could use some help cleaning up. Rosalina2427 (talk to me) 04:04, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
  • List of warez groups - A list of warez groups, which publish pirated/cracked content. This article has a serious issue: the site 'defacto2' is used extensively throughout the article, but the site is now usurped and links to straight-up malware that MalwareBytes identifies as a trojan. Many of the links are permanent dead links as well. Waxworker (talk) 01:26, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

May

  • A Mind Forever Voyaging - A 1985 text adventure game by Infocom with a strong political theme. Excessive fancruft in the form of an excessively long plot description and reads as being written by a fan. It also has formatting issues, and a lack of inline citations. Waxworker (talk) 19:56, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Schnuffel - A German CGI musician rabbit created by Jamba! (also known as Jamster), similar to Crazy Frog. Bare URLS under references. Waxworker (talk) 19:22, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
yellow tickY Partly done converted some urls and marked several as dead. There are plenty on the webpage jamba and one heavenmusic.gr that lead to the main page rather than the one dedicated to the mentioned pieces. Need help with those - what do we do in such cases? Less Unless (talk) 20:13, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
Fixed remaining bare URLs. --WILDSTARtalk 22:44, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Hunter (video game) - A 1991 video game using procedurally generated 3D graphics. The gameplay & reception sections read as being written by a fan, and gameplay appears as original research due to this and the lack of inline citations in it. I've already done some work on this article in improving its citations to have archive.org links and such. Waxworker (talk) 18:47, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Fernando Sulichin - Argentinian filmmaker. Introductory section is poorly cited and overly promotional in tone. CRL956 (talk) 16:32, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
Done rewrote a large part to cite and reference correctly, update and remove any promotional content Miriumjenkins (talk) 17:38, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Simon Tian - Canadian businessman. The article suffers from over-referencing, it is also quite promotional. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:28, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
Done removed heavy referencing from primary sources, self-published sources and promotional content Miriumjenkins (talk) 09:34, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

  • The Case of the Cautious Condor - A 1989 mystery adventure game. Tone issues, minimal citations, and the majority of the page's content is in the summary section. Waxworker (talk) 12:17, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Tolu' A Akinyemi - This article belongs to [People] and requires cleanup because of improper citations and tone. Help reimprove. Thanks Olatunde Brain (talk) 21:12, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
  • eBid - An online auction site. Reads as an advertisement, has a single ref that's just the site itself. Waxworker (talk) 16:15, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
Not done, nominated for deletion instead. PJvanMill (talk) 21:11, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
Note: not sure if this person is even notable. No inline citations; "References" consists of google scholar citation number, two dead pages on the site of his university, two of his publications, and a dead site. There are no claims in the article that would make him satisfy one of the criteria of WP:NACADEMIC, let alone sources for them. I will try to look for some sources, but if I'm unsuccessful, I will probably nominate it at AFD. PJvanMill (talk) 21:04, 30 May 2020 (UTC)

  • Elvira_Fortunato - Inventor of the paper transistor and pioneer of paper electronics. I drafted this article and it's my first article. It's partly translated from the Portuguese Wikipedia page, I added new information and more relevant sources and links to scientific papers. --IsabelAllegro (talk) 10:17, 10 May 2020 (GMT+1)
  • Charing Cross tube station - Recently rewritten, instead of condensing the article, the edit expanded it to a ridiculously long level, particularly the history section, but just in general. I'd like to see the previous version added to and clarified, but we're talking sentences, not entire pages of new information. The major expansion is not consistent with other articles on rapid transit stations. --Criticalthinker (talk) 05:17, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Comment – Before people from this outside project jump in and change the article, I strongly recommend discussing matters first at Talk:Charing Cross tube station § Rewrite, which was initiated yesterday on 9 May 2019. Also of consideration is that the article was nominated for consideration to become a WP:GOODARTICLE only two days ago, on 8 May 2020 (diff). Would removing content make the article less likely to pass a GA-review? North America1000 05:26, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
  • So, I did discuss this the person who made the edits. There is no use to go back and forth with him because it was clear he disagrees. I honestly don't think it's much of a debate that if the former page was too little then the expansion is MUCH too much. I even left suggestions of how it could be improved. The length simply isn't consistent with other comparable pages. --Criticalthinker (talk) 09:25, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
  • I don't think we did discuss this as such. You made a comment that you though the article was too long and detailed. I made a comment that it was following precedents of other better quality articles from our WikiProject. I also don't think that WP:CLEAN is intended for the sort of changes that you are asking for. You don't say which articles you are comparing this one to, but, in my response, I gave some examples of other good and featured articles on our project. I only provided examples of London Underground related articles, but there is also London Necropolis railway station (GA), Herne Hill railway station (FA), London Bridge station (GA) and Quainton Road railway station (FA), all of which have long detailed history sections. I'm not suggesting that all station articles should be expanded to this level of detail - most of them don't have this amount of history - but Charing Cross tube station did have a long gestation period, which I believe is worth including. You commented that instead of condensing the article, the edit expanded it to a a ridiculously long level. Why is a detailed history of planning and construction ridiculous? As the previous version of the article was lacking basic key information, how could it have been condensed?--DavidCane (talk) 10:58, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Draft:Dan Margalit (mathematician): I drafted this article, but I have a conflict of interest (COI) because I was a student of Margalit. Because of this, the article requires clean up, in particular to ensure that it maintains a neutral point of view. Justin.Lanier (talk) 02:03, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

  • Roxlee: This is an article that must adhere to the biographies of living persons policy. It has multiple issues (see its templates), including containing highly promotional content and having virtually no reliable sources. I'm suspecting it may even violate the BLP policy. As such, it urgently needs cleanup. Please help by improving it, and/or correct me if I am wrong. MrSwagger21 (talk) 03:03, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

  •  Note: The Baybayin article presently has no citation needed templates on it. The article does have one "better source needed" template, in its History section. @CommanderPhoenix: Could you perhaps expound upon and provide specific examples regarding your view that the article contains "unscholarly content"? This addition qualification would be be useful. Also, it may be more functional to post your concerns on the article's talk page, where others with an interest in this specific topic are more likely to see what you have to say. • Christine Shevchenko - this page is excessive sources, many of them are from blogs or forums. I edited it earlier this month to remove the unnecessary sources, but they were added again a few days later by the main contributor of the page. (I do agree with some of the edits) Would like a third editor to make sure the page is okay. Corachow (talk) 17:42, 11 May 2020 (UTC)

  • Free Territory: This article lacks secondary, scientific sources. The sources listed are almost exclusively political pamphlets that are obviously biased. The article itself was probably written as fanfiction and continues to be used as such. Sourced information on this civil war groups ethnic cleansing against the german-speaking menonite minority was recently replaced with additional quotes from anarchist propaganda literature. The lack of reputable sources and literature points towards another problem with the subject: The articles claim that the thing described was a state seems doubtfull. There may have been a militia and a warlord, but there are apparently no sources that indicate the existence of any institutions or anything else that would constitute a state or any society. tl;dr: This article seems to be fiction from the political fringes. -- Liberaler Humanist (talk) 15:05, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
  • Could anyone proofread Kain Rivers? Basically, the article is about a Ukrainian singer, which, nevertheless supposedly got media coverage for 2018–2019 to be presented on the Wikipedia, is an orphan and a mess. There are several paragraphs about the Jewish film where the subject acted just a cameo or so, such ad-like bold sentences, like «This is an art “bomb” comparable to the "Schindler's List" by Steven Spielberg», with no actual critic references at hand. On top of that, the authors of the all «interwikie» articles about [[Kain Rivers]] are pretty strange newly registered users with minimum edits except as to [[Kain Rivers]] himself, while his article in Russian has been already deleted thrice for being an ad and spam with no encyclopedic notability (https://ru.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kain_Rivers&action=edit&redlink=1). -- pr12402, 14 November 2019

  • Bhim Bahadur Tamang – The whole article needs to be cleaned up in terms of grammar/syntax/tone/etc. Not sure if that's copy editing or cleanup, but I flagged it as the latter. -Nostriker (talk) 20:57, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
yellow tickY Partly done - fixed spelling and grammatical errors, removed irrelevant sections. werewolf (talk) 05:29, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Tania Vinokur - Israeli dancer. Looks non-notable to me (possibly a deletion candidate). I careful cleanup and references checkup is neede. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:50, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

  • List of proverbial phrasesRelies almost entirely on one source; little-to-no linking of the phrases to related wiki pages; references themselves are a hodgepodge of alphabetical and numerical.—A garbage person (talk) 17:56, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

yellow tickY Partly done - minor fixes. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 06:07, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
  • The article presently has no bare urls in its references. North America1000 01:12, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Nazanin Karimi - Iranian actress. Something is wrong with references there (i.e. IMDB film pages as references), needs a minor cleanup.
  • GT Dave - American drink industry businessman. A possible COI contribution, but the person looks notable to me. The article, however, needs a bit of cleanup. As an example, I am pretty sure that the phrase "His oldest brother, Adam, graduated from Louisiana State University's medical school in 2008" should be in the article. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 08:26, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Hawaiian Falls - reads like someone copied in a corporate report or internal history of the company. Capitalization of "the Company" and overemphasis on legal negotiations lend support to this position. -- Damenleeturks (talk) 22:16, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
yellow tickY Partly done - cleaned up a bit and did a rewrite of "Hawaiian Falls Waco" (same kind of edits could be applied to other sections). --Bbarmadillo (talk) 09:27, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
yellow tickY Partly done - Formatted references, trimmed out some unsourced personal info. Still needs primary sourcing replaced/content trimmed. Grisette (talk) 14:31, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
yellow tickY Partly done - fixed references 1 to 10. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 19:39, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Kimono -- an anon user from the UK has added a ton of content just in the past few weeks. This appears to be the same user as a known anon active on the EN WIKT, who appears to be somewhat obsessive-compulsive about Japan, and who is unable to read Japanese. They also appear to source from manga and other works of dubious academic quality. Much of their EN WIKT content has been outright wrong, with the occasionally correct fact mixed in. I suspect that much of the recent additions to Kimono require close vetting. I've done a quick pass through the Kimono#Accessories_and_related_garments section, stripping out patently incorrect "lit" additions to Japanese terms, and correcting their addition of the "hakoseko" description. However, there's a ton of content that I just don't have time to go through.
I'm an admin and editor mainly of Japanese entries on EN WIKT. Feel free to ping me for background on this user, or for any help with the Japanese terms. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 17:12, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Jyotirmimamsa—an Indian astronomical work from the 1500s. There's almost no details on the content of the book or what impact it made. Also needs some expert attention. —A garbage person (talk) 16:42, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

  • Dongding Island - This would be an interesting challenge for someone who does cleanup. The topic deserves a more professional touch than I can give it. I created this new article, and it's not a long article- maybe under 1000 words. I think it needs the touch of someone more familiar with Wikipedia standards for high quality articles- someone who does cleanup. I would just mess it up even further if I tried to clean it up. The citations are okay, but I think they could be better. I will try to learn from the way the article is changed to reform my style of editing. Geographyinitiative (talk) 19:34, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
Possible AfD candidate, actually. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 07:50, 15 June 2019 (UTC)

  • yellow tickY Partly done. Fixed the layout for the external media content. North America1000 09:50, 12 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Barbara Holdridge - I just did an edit pass to clean this up. Not sure what else it needs to have the terms of use warning removed. Actaudio (talk) 01:00, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
