TinyPic is a photo and video sharing service, owned and operated by Photobucket.com [1], that allows users to upload, link and share, images and videos on the Internet. The idea is similar to TinyURL in which each uploaded image is given a relatively short internet address. An account is not required to use Tinypic.

Images & Videos

TinyPic allows upload and hosting of JPEG (jpg), png, gif and tiff files. Images that are larger than 1600 pixels (either width or height) are automatically resized to the largest acceptable size.

Tinypic does not accept video files of sizes larger than 100 Megabytes or longer than 5 minutes. Videos longer than 5 minutes are truncated to 5 minutes. Tinypic officially accepts 3g2, 3gp, 3gp2, 3gpp, 3p, asf, avi, divx, dv, dvx, flv, moov, mov, mp4, mpeg4, mpg4, mpe, mpeg, mpg, qt, wmv, xvid and rm digital video file types. [2] Tinypic has recently decided to disallow hosting if the referring site is reddit.com.
