The Montreal Pool Room is a Montreal hot dog and french fry restaurant, located in the city's small red-light district on Boulevard Saint-Laurent, in Quebec, Canada. Opened in 1912, it is reputed to serve some of the best hot dogs and fries in the city. Despite its name, it is no longer a functioning pool room, with the restaurant's pool tables removed at least a quarter century ago. [1][2]

The establishment is one of several businesses on the strip resisting attempts to redevelop and gentrify the area, which is located within the new Quartier des Spectacles.[3]
