Mountain Crest High School (MCHS), located in Hyrum, Utah, is a public high school. As part of the Cache County School District, it serves students in the 10th through 12th grades in Utah's Cache County. Mountain Crest is very closely related to South Cache 8-9 Center, which is in the same school district, and has the same mascot. Students from South Cache also graduate up to Mountain Crest. All students have the choice of taking the school bus. Most students have the option of driving their personal vehicles to the school, assuming they have a Drivers license. Before August 2008, Mountain Crest had optional "remediation" period every Tuesday morning, in which students had the option to go to their teachers for help on assignments. This has since been modified to a schedule consistent with the rest of the week (except for Fridays), due to the school testing an experimental schedule, which adds a extra hour in the morning called a "Choices" hour. During the school day, there are two lunch periods; The first one being for the first floor of the school, and the second one being for the second floor.

Mountain Crest also incorporates classes from Bridgerland Applied Technology College. These classes are only available to junior and senior students. In the afternoon, these classes take up 2 hours and count as 1 full class credit instead of the normal .5 credit assigned for the classes hosted at the high school. However, due to the newly instated "choices" hour being in between the 1st and 2nd hours, the morning classes are significantly longer, taking up nearly 3 hours. Buses are provided for transportation to and from BATC, however students have the option to drive to and from the school in their personal cars.

Mountain Crest is also the home of the Model United Nations team. They took the top two awards at the Regional High School Model United Nations 2007. [citation needed]
