* As I happened to read the above, yet unanswered question of a general nature, I take the liberty to answer it: no, you never want information spread over limp synonyms- the best technique is to reduce these to redirects, in this case probably both, and assemble the data into one properly named page, say [[Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe]] (just click to create that) - the precise name chosen is not utterly crucial since redirects mean either entry will end up at the same page. While I understand any fan my as such consider it his mission to create pages on every character from his favourite comics and am happy to leave it to your crowd to decide if that is best done on separate pages, its simply won't do to completely and exclusively usurpe a word known to a billion Indians and millions of amateurs of colonial history, as if the recent, ficticious 'creature' were the only meaning of the millenary word. Since you apparently didn't know where the name came from, I must warn you that such short word may well have a homophone in some other language (which would likey be more appropriate - e.g. is the comic Japanese?) or be named coincidentally after some one's noun proper (say from he author's sphere of interest).

Actually it feels like adding insult to injury (but I don't suppose it was meant that way) to see my brain picked as a mere onomastic mention in the comic article, without even the decency of at least some link to the historically important subject in the real world.

I was actually quite accomodating to arrange the disambiguating link the way I now restore, and don't see any justification to touch that again. If you believe otherwise on reasonable grounds, feel free to reply- before even considering any further revert. [[User:Fastifex|Fastifex]] 17:52, 24 November 2005 (UTC)

Irish-Scots

Hi I've proposed a rename to Category:Scottish people of Irish descent, please change vote if you support this Wikipedia:Categories_for_deletion/Log/2005_November_13#Category:Irish-Scots_to_Category:Scottish_people_of_Irish_descent. ThanksArniep 17:20, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Live Wire

Becuase it's simply Livewire with a space. There are things besides the character that are named "Live Wire", and it was better to simply redirect Live Wire to Livewire. I suppose you're right in the Live Wire (comics) thing, although. I must have been confused with Livewire (DC Comics) and redirecting Livewire (comics) to Livewire to remove confusion between the villain and Livewires. --Apostrophe 02:31, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate articles?

I'm not entirely up on this stuff, so I'll ask you. Do we need both The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe articles? Steve block talk 19:27, 23 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
