Brent Bolthouse (born December 18, 1969) is an entrepreneur, event producer, DJ, and photographer. He has been featured on MTV's The Hills[1].

In 2008 Bolthouse added radio host to his list of accomplishments, co-hosting a weekly radio show “Feel My Heat” on Indie 103.1 with Danny Masterson. The show has been rated by Rolling Stone as number one in the Indie category.[2][3]

Professional life

In 1987 Bolthouse moved to Los Angeles from Joshua Tree, California. He made his debut as a club promoter at Opus Lily[4] in 1989, that same year Bolthouse Productions[5] was founded. His early career included promoting the Roxbury, The Viper Room, and the House of Blues. He also opened the Los Angeles hot spots Babylon, Opium Den Sunset Blvd.’s Coffee House and the venue Avalon of which he is still currently a partner.[6] Bolthouse is also a partner and co-owner of the Body English night club at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.[7]

In 1991 Bolthouse partnered with Jenifer Rosero and in late 2005, Bolthouse Productions and Sam Nazarian’s SBE Entertainment Group (SBE) announced a partnership to develop, promote and operate nightclubs, restaurants, lounges and bars.[8]. Together with SBE, Bolthouse collaborates on nightlife venues and fine dining establishments including the Hyde Lounge, the nightclub Area, Foxtail, Katsuya and Chef Michael Mina's XIV Restaurant, as well as designer Philippe Starck.[9]

In 2008 Bolthouse added the hospitality industry to his portfolio with work on the newly opened luxury hotel SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills [10] which features the four-star restaurant Bazaar by José Andrés. Upcoming projects include the in-development Sahara Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Bolthouse Productions / Bolthouse Vox Events

In early 2009 Bolthouse Productions partnered with Vox Entertainment to form the full-service special events company Bolthouse Vox Events. Clients have included HBO, T-Mobile, and Prada. [11][12]

In March 2009, Bolthouse Vox announced a joint venture with Wolfgang Puck Catering through which all Bolthouse Vox events will be catered by Wolfgang Puck.[13]
