Curtis Brown Prize
In March 2005 the Curtis Brown Prize was launched, awarded to "the best prose fiction student on the course" and sponsored by Curtis Brown Literary Agency.[1] Winners have been[2] :-

David Higham Prize for Fiction
The prize was inugurated in 1975 to mark the 80th birthday of the late David Higham, literary agent and is awarded annually to a citizen of the Commonwealth, Republic of Ireland, Pakistan or South Frica for a firat novel or book of short stories. It was cancelled in 1999 due to 'the lack of publicity its winners received'.[3]
