Elizabeth "Liz" Fuller (born December 30, 1975) is a Welsh actress, TV host, model and media personality, known for once having owned the British branch of the Miss World franchise.

Early career

Fuller was born in Swansea, Wales and attended Dumbarton House School, where ex-students included Catherine Zeta-Jones and Craig Morris. Fuller started dance lessons, and gave her first ever solo performance at the age of 3.

She then attended the Dubensky stage school, where performances included Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Fuller moved over to The Grand Theatre School of Dance, and continued taking part in stage productions, including The Hobbit.

Fuller was a child dance star for Eleanor Live (HTV Wales), a model on the S4C programme ‘Heno’ and also starred in Pobol Y Cym, the Welsh language soap. Fuller's modeling career started at 16 after being spotted by a photographer, and she then undertook catwalk shows and photographic shoots, and also her very first beauty pageant - Miss Wales 1994.

Fuller went on to be crowned Miss Cardiff, Miss Wales Universe, and finally the Miss Great Britain International title in 1996. Fuller held the Miss GB title unusually longer than the twelve month term due to no competition being held until Spring 1998.

Fuller gained nine GCSEs and three A-levels, but before going to university at Cardiff attended the Falmouth College of Art. Fuller started at the University Of Wales Cardiff in 1994 on the BA journalism, film and broadcasting course. In addition Fuller chose subsidiary subjects including feminism - which was extremely difficult with her lecturer, as at the time Fuller held the Miss Cardiff title.

During Fuller's second year at Uni, she got to travel far east to Taiwan (winning Miss Dream Girl bikini competition,) Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Las Vegas.

Fuller got a 2:2 degree from Cardiff in 1997.

TV and broadcast

Fuller started her broadcast career at Morriston Hospital, Swansea presenting on one of the few hospital television channels in the country. After stints at Swansea Sound Radio and HTV Wales, Fuller went on to co-present 'The Birthday Show' for Granada TV, and a pilot for Topshop TV. Fuller also did work experience at the News of the World and Live TV.

In 1997 Fuller moved to London and has continued to model. Fuller became a commercial model with agents in South Africa, London, and in the US. Campaigns include Kronenbourg, Fosters, Sol beer and Doritos; and TV adverts include Boots NO 7 makeup, and Suzuki.

Fuller was a house model in 1999 on the Richard and Judy show 'This Morning', Fuller got her TV break presenting Man Utd TV, on the show 'Reds at Five' with Ally Begg. She then worked in Scotland on the Peakviewing travel reports for a broadband venture, then presented and took on the role as producer on the Dating Channel.

In September 2001, Fuller was offered a presenting role to launch Auction World.tv on Sky Digital, and in August 2002 Fuller broke into terrestrial TV on ITV1 and became the female host for The Pop Factory on HTV Wales with Steve Jones - which later led to her presenting 'Record Of The Year' on ITV.

In 2004 Fuller wrote, sold, presented and produced the car show "Numberplate Heaven" on Sky channel Men and Motors. Fuller also joined Nation 217 as one of their anchor presenters on Sky.

Fuller has hosted since 1998 the Miss Great Britain, and in 2005 she bought the UK licence to produce and operate the show. After 18 months Liz was offered and bought out of the business. Fuller still is called to judge and judged ‘Asbo Teen to Beauty Queen’ on Five in 2006

Present

Fuller is currently to be seen as the anchor presenter on Quiz Call for Five every Thursday and Saturday nights live and unscripted. Fuller recently had her own column in Wales on Sunday newspaper called 'The Fuller Picture'.

Fuller is currently the face of Pearl Drops Toothpaste on a three year commercial deal, where the advert plays out in the UK and five other countries. Fuller is currently the face of haute couture designer Rachel Elbaz perfume 'Dream'.

Fuller has signed to the British film The Operative:Red Dawn where she will play the part of the newsreporter.
