Papoose Is the stage name of an American rapper. One of the new up and coming rappers from the Ben sty section of Brooklyn NY. He recently won the justo award which is for the best undergroud rapper of the year and is on his way to greateness. "Pap" as he is commonly called is a lyricist, more than the usual rapper. His style is unique to say the least and his flow is "ridiculously" skillfull and from many people who heard "Pap" say that this guys fin to blow the rap game open any second now.
He has grown a lot since Dj Kay Slay took him under his wing with hopes that he will progress far beyond where Rap is today. Slays' vision is to make Papoose the successor for recently retired rap guru, Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. One of his most notable songs is Alphabetical Slaughter where Papoose proceeds to rap using only the letters of the alphabet in sequence. Which is said bye many rap fans to be one of the "Sickest" rap tracks to date. It is suggested that if one wants to truely appreciate this rapper this would be the song to begin with.
Papoose is currently in the "Lab" putting finishing touches on his long awaited debut album currently titled "The Nacirema Dream" (The American Dream Backwards)It will be released under Dj Kay Slay's Record company "Sweetstreepers" in the first quater of 2006.
