The Yongle period (永樂時代, Yongle jidai, "period of perpetual happiness"), or Yongle era, is a period in the History of the Ming Dynasty dating from 17 July 1402 to 12 August 1424, coinciding with the reign of the Yongle Emperor. This period was called the Yongle Golden Age (永乐盛世).
