Commissioner's Trophy (MLB)

After removing that talk page banner, this is now the only portion of the soon-to-be-featured topic on Awards in Major League Baseball that isn't under this project's bailiwick. Additionally, I read the talk page discussion you pointed to, but I didn't really understand the consensus, nor do I agree with it. Could you clarify for me? The Commissioner's Trophy doesn't fall within the scope of WP:WPAW because it is an award handed out as a result of a competition, not as a result of a selection based on performance like the Nobel Prize. This is why the Stanley Cup, a FA, doesn't falls within the scope of the project also. Besides, just because this article doesn't fall within this project, doesn't mean the entire topic doesn't fall within this project. Of course, if you disagree, you can always start a new discussion, but this is where the current consensus stands.—Chris!_c/t 01:02, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
