Pawan Kalyan (born as Konidela Kalyan) on 2 September 1971 is a Telugu cinema actor and director. Pawan Kalyan's notable movies include as an actorTholi Prema (1998), Thammudu (1999), Badri (2000) and Khushi (2001). He is the younger brother of Telugu actor the Megastar - Chiranjeevi and actor/producer Nagendra Babu. He also directed a film Johnny in which he himself played the lead role and wife, Renu Desai co-starred with him. The film was a flop but received appreciation from critics for his technical brilliance and his martial arts in the movie. he later gave all average movies by content but hits in terms of trade from Gudumbashankar to Annavaram. his latest movie Jalsa (2008) was a blockbuster and rewrote several records of 76 years of Telugu Industry at box office. The film completed 50 days in 282 centers and 100 days in 25 centers. It collected 58 crores in total.now he is currently working for his next movie kommaram Puli.

Personal life
Pawan Kalyan was first married to Nandini, whom he divorced on 13 August 2008 [2]. On 28 January 2009 married Renu Desai after the controversial divorce with his first wife. Desai was the female lead in his films Badri and Johnny. The couple have a son.
He is Black Belt 1st Dan (Shodan) in Budo Kan Karate. He has trained under fight master Hussain Malaysian.
