Nandamuri Harikrishna is the son of late Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. Harikrishna is an actor, politician and he has also worked as minister. On 15 March 2008, he filed nomination papers as a candidate from Telugu Desam Party for election to Rajya Sabha, Upper House of the Indian Parliament.
