Darren McCauley (born 21 February 1991) is an Irish footballer currently playing for Derry City.

He was previously a member of the Northern Ireland Under-18 Schools' team that won the tri-nation Schools' tournament in Jersey in February 2009.[1]

He also captained the under 18 schoolboys to victory in the Carnegie Centenary Shield match against England in March 2009.[2]

McCauley is currently a member of the Republic of Ireland Under 19 squad.[3]

In September 2009 McCauley attracted interest from Celtic, Blackburn Rovers and other English sides.[4][5] On 18 September, it was reported that Derry had rejected a bid from Blackburn Rovers for the player.[6]
