*Whatever - It seemed like a good idea at the time, but you don't agree. You can put a "speedy delete" on it if you wish. Actually, given that you're an admin, why don't you just delete it? Pdfpdf (talk) 11:59, 29 January 2010 (UTC) |

**Just because I have the tools doesn't mean that I can use to delete a category out-of-process! (I'd support a spell in the naughty corner for any admin doing that).<br />It doesn't fit any of the speedy deletion criteria, but since you created it only a few days ago and are the only editor, it can be speedy-deleted if you request deletion. I don't want to in any way appear to be pushing you into doing that, because we have a process here where we can seek a wider consensus ... I'm just pointing out that this possibility exists if you want to use it, and I'm not sure wheteher your comment above is a request to delete. --<span style="color:#996600; cursor: not-allowed;">Brown</span>HairedGirl <small>(talk) • (contribs)</small> 12:13, 29 January 2010 (UTC) |

- Nominator's rationale: Starting here to tag all these for renaming; beginning with the sub-cats for defunct competitions. This will be a multi-day project. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 11:13, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: I'm not sure about the name for the Republic of Ireland. I've followed the pattern, but there may be a better name. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 11:22, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Also unsure about the necessity of "Defunct" when it comes to the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 11:33, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Category:Australian Boarding Schools' Association
- Category:Australian Boarding Schools' Association - Template:Lc1
- Nominator's rationale: Delete. Boarding schools in Australia are already categorised by state under Category:Boarding schools in Australia, and this categorisation-by-membership-of-a-trade-association seems to serve little purpose other than promoting that organisation; the Australian Boarding Schools' Association (ABSA) website gives no indication that the body has any statutory or regulatory function. Note that there is no head article Australian Boarding Schools' Association, so it seems inappropriate to listify the category. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 05:50, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Category:Fb WCL templates
- Propose renaming Category:Fb WCL templates to Category:UEFA Women's Champions League templates
- Nominator's rationale: Rename for clarity. These templates all relate to the UEFA Women's Champions League. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 05:27, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Rename and has anyone looked at those templates? I see nothing but a single line of text in them, nothing that indicates they are templates at all except the namespace? Strange. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 08:48, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- It is correct what Bradjamesbrown has said about the templates. But it is done the same way as the UEFA Men's Champions League. So I used the same method for the tables for the women. See use of template in table: Eredivisie_(women)#Eredivisie_2008-09 and see use of template in table: Eredivisie#League_table. Lots of use of this way of templates: Template:Fb competition 2009-10 Eredivisie European competition Playoffs is another example used in the table => Remake the whole tables to new format??? If anyone has a better way? --Black Orchid (talk) 11:19, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
