Chintapalli Venkata Ramana Babu (April 20) was born in Palakol, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is a successful Telugu Film Writer. His screen name is Chintapalli Ramana.

His movies include Suswagatham, Tholi Prema, Thammudu, Anandam, Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, Pellam Oorelithe, Dil, Ottesi Cheputunna, Sandade Sandadi, Vasantham, Devadasu, Dubai Seenu, Ullasamga Utsahamga, Arundhati and Namo Venkatesa were super hits.

Personal life

Chintapalli Ramana was born in Palakol, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India. His father, Chintapalli Suryanarayana Reddy, was a stage drama writer and director. His mother, Gandhalamma, was from Nagulapalli of East Godavari District in the state of Andhra Pradesh and was a housewife.

Career

Chintapalli Ramana worked as a dialogue writer for nearly forty films, out of which thirty were super hits. Before entering into the Tollywood, he had written and directed many stage dramas. In the early days of his film career he worked as an associate director with the name Chintapalli Ramanaareddy for many films. He had been introduced as a dialogue writer through the film Chinnabbulu. After that he gave dialogues for the film (Hero Pawan Kalyan's) Suswagatham and it was a superhit movie. His third film was Tholi Prema and it is a trend setter in the Telugu Film Industry.

Chintapalli Ramana's specialty is to write dialogues in the view of common man by maintaining ethical values. He can write the dialogues with exclusive humorous, emotional and human relations without vulgarity without losing their real essence and flavour. His films prove his pen strength pointing to present trend in our society.

Chintapalli Ramana worked with Tollywood top directors namely YVS Chowdary, Srinu Vaitla, Puri Jagannadh, V V Vinayak, Bhimaneni Srinivasarao, S V Krishna Reddy, A. Karunakaran and many more.
