J.B. Adams (born Sept, 29, 1954) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is an American character stage and film actor, director and singer. He has credits in film, television and, most notably, musical theatre. He attended Oklahoma City University, where he studied voice, piano, opera, and musical theatre, after which he became a New York based broadway actor. He is perhaps best known for his roles in the Broadway Production of Beauty and the Beast and 1997 Annie (musical) Broadway Revival. Other Broadway credits include Parade, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Me and My Girl. He played the role of Morris Farnsworth the movie Far From Heaven and has done guest starring roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
