Ankur Vikal is an Indian theatre and film actor.He studied at the National School of Drama (NSD),New Delhi,after studying Architecture for 31/2 years at the M.S.University,Baroda.He has been acting in as many plays as films.He is acting in plays like Motley's Manto Ismat Haazir Hain,Safed Jhooth Kaali Shalwar,Katha Kollage-2,All Thieves and The Caine Mutiny.He has also acted in Salome and Crab. He has chosen a few films beginning with the role of Kamlesh, brother of Kiran in the Indian ground-breaking film Mango Soufflé.

His roles also include the role of Maman in Slumdog Millionaire (2008). In the film, he discovers the children while they are living in the trash heaps.
