Muhammad Drawings vote

GreasySteve, you signed your name to the wrong place. The active vote is taking place at Talk:Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy. Please come there to vote! Thanks. Babajobu 03:26, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ooops--Greasysteve13 03:27, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use image

Hello! I noticed that you had Image:Jyllands-Posten Muhammad drawings.jpg shown on your user page. The image is uploaded under a fair use provision, and Wikipedia policy states that fair use images should not be displayed on any pages outside the main (article) namespace, including user pages. Would you mind removing the image or simply linking to it? (Add a ":" in from of the image, like this: [[:Image:Jyllands-Posten Muhammad drawings.jpg]]) Thanks a lot! Flcelloguy (A note?) 15:25, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Will do. But would it be alright if made a userbox out of it that stated that this user was against censorship?--Greasysteve13 07:19, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot! Flcelloguy (A note?) 16:18, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Kinda like this:
This user finds censorship offensive.

--Greasysteve13 07:41, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use images are permitted in the article namespace only. You might want to fix up that userbox since it looks like I uglified it when I removed the image =S. — TheKMantalk 08:06, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This isn't fair. That would be perfectly okay in uncyclopedia--Greasysteve13 08:38, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

Please stop re-creating deleted polemical templates. This is your only warning. --MarkSweep (call me collect) 01:23, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. But nobody complained about:
This user does not support Stephen Harper.

Arabic script

Benbrika and Hilaly are Australian citizens, and Australia uses the Roman alphabet. It is therefore not appropriate that their names be rendered in Arabic script. Adam 11:21, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I relise this, but the were born in countries that use Arabic letters.--Greasysteve13 11:38, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Abo

Howdy Steve. I think most Australians would disagree about which slur is more offensive to Indigenous Australians. I removed your question because I wasn't sure if you were just trying to bait people but I'll assume good faith. Garglebutt / (talk) 20:38, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Abo" may be more offensive to Indigenous Australians but it probably doesn't have the stigma that "Nigger" has to those of African decent.--Greasysteve13 22:46, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's pretty hard to describe the response to a slur to people from outside of Australia without providing a well known comparison. It may not be ideal, but I can't think of any other way to convey the intent. Garglebutt / (talk) 22:50, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay--Greasysteve13 22:52, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
