"Jet Lag"
Song

"Jet Lag" is the second single (and in some countries released as the first official single) by Simple Plan from their fourth studio album Get Your Heart On!. The single was released on April 25, 2011, on the band's official website, and is featured in two versions: One featuring British singer Natasha Bedingfield[1][2] providing guest vocals in English, and one featuring French-Canadian singer Marie-Mai providing guest vocals in French.[3] A third version will feature Dutch singer Krystl, who will be singing the female vocals lines in Dutch.

The single was announced by lead singer Pierre Bouvier and guitarist Sébastien Lefebvre in a special video message on April 20, 2010, and was described as the "first real official single" from the new album.

Critical reception

In a upcoming review of the Entertainment Weekly magazine, the song received a "B+" rating. The review commented that the song is a "surprisingly lovely pop-punk pounder about intercontinental relationships."

Music video

The music video for "Jet Lag" was released on May 4, 2011 which features Natasha Bedingfield or Marie-Mai in a hotel room, and the band at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The band perform inside the airport while Pierre gets ready for boarding the flight to his girlfriend, which is played by Natasha/Marie-Mai.
