Young Out Here

I see you are one of the main contributers for this article. Welome to Wikipedia. I hope you are planning to add more to the page. An organization's own web page or blog isn't accepted by Wikipedia as a main source. Are there any news reports about the group? You need something to show that the group is"notable" enough for it's own article. Cloveapple (talk) 20:17, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Cloveapple, for your message, and thanks for extending a warm welcome to me. To answer your question, I am unsure of the status of the page currently. Also, due to the nature of the under publicized information regarding these events and groups here in Singapore, I am unable to find adequate online references or news reports regarding the group. The group has survived well in 5 years considering the tenacious nature of LGBT issues in Singapore with it being an Out-of-Bounds topic set by the government, and the available information that I am able to find are all written in the page, with references cited to the best I can, while the rest of the uncited information are from several word of mouth sources with a interview with some of the people involved in the work, of which, all of them requested to stay anonymous. I hope you understand the situation, and if this is not a good practice, please let me know and I would be glad if you could suggest some solutions without resorting to the deletion of the page or information that cannot be found otherwise here. Thank you once again for your interest and for taking time to reply. =] Zappyzac (talk) 16:45, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I can understand why you are unsure of the page's status. Those official looking notices can look scary. Right now nobody has even suggested deleting the article. (That would look like the red bordered notice at the top of this article.) And even if somebody posted a notice saying it was being considered for deletion there's always a discussion first that anybody can comment in. Plus if you can solve the issues its tagged for, then you can take the notices off.
Does the Out-of-Bounds designation mean that it's illegal to discuss LGBT issues in the media? That's horrible. I'm not sure what can be done to make the article fit Wikipedia's guidelines. I'm still fairly new at some of this so there might be some way to solve this that I'm missing. Unfortunately there's a policy that you can't use original research. You might have enough material to write a more general article on LGBT groups in Singapore and then have a couple external links at the end, but I don't think you'll able to keep all the information in this article. You might try looking at what sources other articles are using to see if they give you ideas. I looked at a couple other articles on LGBT stuff in Singapore and I saw there's a book called People Like Us. Does it say anything helpful? Can you use it as a source? I forgot to add that if you want you can get the article moved to a user page while you work on a draft and then moved back to official article space when you feel it's ready. If you want that I'll ask someone to move it for you. Cloveapple (talk) 06:09, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am somehow blocked now apparently because of "04:39, 7 July 2011 DeltaQuad (talk | contribs) blocked Zappyzac (talk | contribs) (account creation blocked) with an expiry time of indefinite ‎ (Abusing multiple accounts: Please see: Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Irvine22: GoharShahi)" This is damn annoying and unwarranted because they should be able to check that there is only one account using my email address.
