Rowthiram (Tamil: ரெளத்திரம்; English: Fury) is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by newcomer Gokul. Produced by R. B. Choudary, the film stars his son Jeeva and Shriya Saran in lead roles with Jayaprakash and Ganesh Acharya appearing in supporting roles.[1] It released on August 12, 2011.[2] It is also being dubbed into Telugu as Roudram. The movie has released to moderate reviews.[3]

Production

The film's shooting was held in various places in Tamil Nadu. The team had canned some scenes in the temple town Villianur. Reportedly some portions of this film was re-shot after Jeeva's previous venture Ko became a high success.

The soundtrack was composed by Prakash Nikki. It was released on 18 July 2011 at Hotel Green Park in Chennai.
