Anyone got any of those patience and diplomacy tablets left? I think we're going to need them again. Writegeist (talk) 22:07, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Life was getting a bit dull. Pointy sticks and hornets nests anyone? --Biker Biker (talk) 22:19, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tiger questions

Thanks for creating Triumph Tiger Explorer. I can't tell from sources whether it's a successor to, or addition to, the Triumph Tiger 1050. Also, it appears that the Explorer may be called the Explorer 1200 in North America; do you know if this is true? I was going to tweak the article title until I realized Triumph's press material and web site are not consistent. In either case, should we make Triumph Tiger a disambiguation page since there are now several current models including Triumph Tiger 800 as well? — Brianhe (talk) 18:17, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Triumph Tiger should definitely be a disambig page given the three current models and huge number of previous ones that used some version of the name. The Tiger Explorer is an addition to the Tiger 1050, which has now been refined to mostly a road-bike. I hadn't heard that the US name would be different - in fact the Triumph USA website uses the exact same name, as does the Canadian website --Biker Biker (talk) 19:58, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Triumph Tiger is now a disambiguation. I think I got them all. --Biker Biker (talk) 20:12, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Shout if you need any admin work to delete/move anything, of course. tedder (talk) 20:17, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I got the Tiger Explorer 1200 name from the EICMA announcement which looks like a reprinted press release. Brianhe (talk) 20:46, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December 2011

Your recent editing history at Association of Global Automakers shows that you are in danger of breaking the three-revert rule, or that you may have already broken it. An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Breaking the three-revert rule often leads to a block.

If you wish to avoid being blocked, instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You may still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not exceed the technical limit of the three-revert rule if your behavior indicates that you intend to continue to revert repeatedly.
