Jacqueline Mary Jossa[1] (born 29 October 1992)[2] is an English actress from Bexley, London, best known for her role in the BBC soap opera EastEnders as Lauren Branning.
Jossa was born in the London Borough of Bexley.[1] She trained at D&B Theatre School in Bromley[2] and in 2010 she was cast in EastEnders as Lauren Branning, taking over from Madeline Duggan who played the role from 2006 to 2010.[3] She made her first appearance on screen on 27 September 2010.
Awards and Nominations
Jossa was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2011 TV Choice Awards and won The Best Newcomer at the 2011 National Television Awards.[4]
