Mildred Ashong (born August 1, 1986), better known by her stage name Eazzy, is a Ghanaian singer/rapper. Eazzy was signed to Lynx Entertainment record label in 2009[1] and has since then rapidly established herself as one of the most exciting female stars of the Ghanaian music scene.
Biography
Eazzy was born in Accra, Ghana and has always wanted to be a performer right through her school years from St Anthony’s Junior High School, Mfantiman Senior High School and the Institute of Professional Studies in Ghana to the Chartered Institute of Marketing in England.
She signed to Lynx Entertainment in 2009 and released her much anticipated debut album in August 2010[2] to rave reviews. The album featured hit singles Bo Wonsem Ma Me and Wengeze and earned her 2 nominations at the 2010 4syte Music Video Awards[3] and 5 nominations at the 2011 Ghana Music Awards[4] .
Eazzy has collaborated with artistes such as Richie, Tinny, Donaeo, Asem, OJ Blaq, Sonnieballi, Gyedu Blay Ambolley & Zigi and her collaboration with Richie on the single ‘One Gal’ earned her the award for ‘Best Story Line’ at the 2011 4syte Music Video Awards[5] .
