File permission problem with File:Zigi Plahar.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Zigi Plahar.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 00:45, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Lynx Entertainment.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Lynx Entertainment.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Fut.Perf. 00:45, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You have been blocked from editing until such time as you can explain how this and this weren't deliberate lies and attempts at covering up copyright violations. You may use the template {{unblock|Your reason for unblocking ~~~~}} here on this page if you want to request an unblock. Fut.Perf. 07:24, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|Your reason for unblocking I have not deliberately lied or violated copyright. This is the first time I have uploaded images on wikipedia and I have found the permissions instructions confusing and would like the opportunity to submit proof of copyright permission, if I am allowed to}}

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Olivia phillips (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Could I please have my account reviewed? I have not deliberately lied or violated copyright but have had my account blocked since 6 February 2012. I loaded images for the first time on wikipedia and found the instructions confusing but had no intention of deliberating lying or violating copyright. I put in a request to have my account unblocked on 6 February 2012 and again on 12 February 2012 but have still not heard back from wikipedia with guidance on how best to proceed.

Decline reason:

You changed the copyright holder/author to yourself, seemingly with the intention of avoiding the copyright issues. You have not explained this, which is one of the reasons for your block. Until you can adequately explain this, an unblock cannot be considered. PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 09:06, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Unblocked[edit]

Hi Olivia, After the discussions on the unblock list, and finally the permissions coming through from the permissions team, I'm also unblocking your account. Please note you can't repost the pictures just yet, awaiting confirmation from the actual rights holder who the permissions team has emailed. Kind regards, Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 18:42, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I uploaded some files for you[edit]

There already was an image called Zigi, so I used a different name:

There are names similar to Eazzy so I used:

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:KiDi 2018 Ghana Music Awards.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:KiDi 2018 Ghana Music Awards.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 00:01, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Kuami Eugene 2018 Ghana Music Awards.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

No evidence of copyright ownership of image

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 00:37, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:MzVee 2018 Ghana Music Awards.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Ways to improve KiDi (musician)[edit]

Hi, I'm Semmendinger. Olivia phillips, thanks for creating KiDi (musician)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hi there! Easy fix to the article: "force to reckon with" and "He has become a delight" are not encyclopedic and thus should be changed in this article to something with a more neutral point of view.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
