At this point, I don't believe her strike meets the inclusion criteria for the article. She's getting a great deal of attention as recent news, but it's too early to see if it will have any long-term notability. Most importantly, there's been no results from the strike beyond the publicity. This is the key criteria that we've been using at Hunger strike to prevent it from becoming a listing of all hunger strikes, instead of a article highlighting a few extremely notable strikes.

Take a look at the talk page discussions and article history. The criteria is working, but not without occasional confusion. There's support for creating a separate list of notable hunger strikes, but I don't think anyone has tried starting it. It'll likely be a very long list, but if should be manageable if constrained to strikes already mentioned in other articles. --Ronz (talk) 18:04, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Anchorsong

Hello,

I see that on 22 April 2008 you deleted the page for the electronic musician Anchorsong

"05:34, 22 April 2008 Pigman (talk | contribs) deleted page Anchorsong (A7 (group): Group/band/club/company/etc; doesn't indicate importance/significance)"

I am writing to inform you that I am re-creating the wikipedia page. I will include verified references (web interviews, youtube videos, album reviews) in order to bolster the artist's credibility.

Many thanks

Banting and Best Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Hi Pigman, I recently pushed a new article which was promptly nominated for speedy deletion. I've only been with Wikipedia for a year or so now so am still learning the ropes. I'm wondering if you could lend a hand in cleaning up the article?

The article was titled: Banting and Best Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Let me know if you need more info from me.

Thanks, Max Editormax3 (talk) 17:13, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Theresa Spence's hunger strike

I meant to leave you a note, but got sidetracked and never got back it.

Good to see Theresa Spence is being worked on. I'd seen some of the news on her.

At this point, I don't believe her strike meets the inclusion criteria for the article. She's getting a great deal of attention as recent news, but it's too early to see if it will have any long-term notability. Most importantly, there's been no results from the strike beyond the publicity. This is the key criteria that we've been using at Hunger strike to prevent it from becoming a listing of all hunger strikes, instead of an article about hunger strikes that highlights a few extremely notable ones.
