Belated Happy New Year with a Toast!

float
float

Here's a toast to the host
Of those who edit wiki near and far,
To a friend we send a message, "keep the data up to par".
We drink to those who wrote a lot of prose,
And then they whacked a vandal several dozen blows.
A toast to the host of those who boast, the Wikipedians!

A Very Happy (belated) New Year to you Andrea! Enjoy the Whisky ~TheGeneralUser (talk) 00:00, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you!

Thank you for everything you do for the LGBT community... and wikipedia. I also wanted to let you know that your "coached" link is broken. Don't want to re-link a broken link, though :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by HumminPolGeek (talkcontribs) 20:49, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of International Association for the Treatment of Sexual Offenders, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.iatso.org/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Thank you for the barnstar

Thank you for the barnstar. It is nice to know somebody recognizes one's work. I was going to make a dumb joke that if you wrote better articles, I wouldn't be editing them... Then I looked at your userpage and website. Dang. The barnstar is a real honor from somebody of your Wikipedia caliber and your professional acclaim. Thank you. Redirects

You seem to have a better grasp on some of the terminology, do these redirects seem odd, or even needed? I was looking at the new article list on the LGBT project page and saw them. Insomesia (talk) 22:45, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there-- Redirects are cheap, as they say. I don't see any problems with those. It's a very obscure terminology which appeals to some people who used to be called "pseudotranssexuals" or "non-transsexuals" but who identify as transsexual. No one will ever search those terms, but there are very few redirects I would ever delete. Jokestress (talk) 23:32, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
