Mauro Colagreco (born 5 October 1976 in La Plata) is an Argentine chef at the two-Michelin star restaurant Mirazur in Menton, France.

Career

Coleagro moved to La Rochelle, France in 2001. In 2002 he became demi chef de partie with Bernard Loiseau.[1] In 2006 he took over the restaurant Mirazur which has since become one of the top restaurants in the world.[2] In August 2013, Colagreco featured on Elite Traveler's list of ‘The 15 Most Influential Chefs of the Next Decade'.[3]

Awards

  • 2007: First Michelin star
  • 2009: Cuisinier de l’Année in Gault Millau[4]
  • 2012: Second Michelin star
