This is a list of youngest wives, women of historical significance who married at a young age. Women have traditionally married at younger ages than men[1] although the average age of marriage has increased for both sexes with time. The youngest wives are historically more numerous in the past due to both law (increases in the minimum age required for marriage) and trends.[2]

Following are categories which organize such females by the age they were upon first marriage.

Age 6 or 7

Age 12

Age 13

Age 14

Age 15

Age 16

Age 17
