Complaint

1. Around October 7, 2011, Student Activities submitted a complaint to the general counsel. SAO appears to have complained that MIT Crime Club committed a section 90 false-claim offense. ASA published the complaint but not the decision. Do you know whether Student Activities lost?

"Whoever … makes any false and fraudulent … assertion of … sanction of an incorporated college … as a commendation … shall be punished…." False Claim of Endorsement or Approval Act, Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 266, § 90.

2. "Article III: Rights and Responsibilities of Student Groups.…The activity’s president and treasurer … must be distinct registered MIT students." ASA Operating Guidelines.
