Carl Fleming Edwards (born September 3, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 48th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of Mid-Carolina High School in Prosperity, South Carolina. On July 22, 2013, Edwards along with Mike Olt and Justin Grimm were traded to the Chicago Cubs for Matt Garza.[1] He is the number 28 prospect by Baseball America.[2]
