Mfundo Herman Mahlangu born in August 11, 1994 AKA HermaineM, is a Hip Hop artist from Witbank(Emalahleni) South Africa. He started rhyming at age 12 and later joined Hip hop group called "Duece" with his charismatic character doing vocal and producing on HUSTLER's RECORDS in his local community. 2008 he recorded his first solo demo tape tittled "Let it go", by that time he was not that grown musicaly but he strived to learn more by entering Hip hop Cypher competitions. Early 2010 he and his group (Duece) got signed by music label called Pusha productions and were given platfom to perfom with well-known South African artists such as Pro,Red button, Dj Cleo, Black Coffee, Big Nuz just to name a few. 2011 things didnt work out well between the lable and Duece and they decided to terminate the contract. After leaving Pusha production HermaineM and his crew(Duece) decided to join another record lable called MadLab Empire, but that time they released mixtapes and thay gained fame around their community and outside their community and started perfoming on paying gigs, getting radio interviews and good feed back on social media. As we all know that "groups" dont last, they all splited and HermaineM decided to focus on his solo rap career , he packed his bags and produced his own music and promoting it online in hope to realize his dream in the music industry. This move landed him on being featured by other local artists and gained more recognition from it. 2012 he focused more on his studies, and took break from music but he continued a year after and recorded a single called “ Aint Lettin go ” and it got air play on local and community radio stations.

Pulling attention at this stage his next single, “Destiny Awaits”, produced by TriggerMan symbolized his arrival onto the scene with this tune making it onto Emalahleni Fm's chart yet again and then catching the attention of social users by his mobile downloads opened more doors for him.

The highlights of his developing performances are such like Sprite Ventelation 2009,KCRS FM Awards 2009, Pusha Production Smition's CD launch 2010, Mad Lab mixtape lauch in Limpopo 2011, Witbank End of the year Hip hop show 2012/2013. He also got featured on an online magazine "Mzansi Talent" 2011 with Duece.

With his name slowly picking up on the scene interviews at campus to national radio stations were in order. The likes of Emalahleni Fm (Emalahleni),KCRS FM (Nkangala) , Ikwekwezi (Pretoria) , thus far have gotten his buzz up in the past few months since his come up.

Being recognized by some of SA’s biggest Hip Hop mouthpieces and having worked with respectable names such as Mad Lab, Molly Superman omnyama, has grown his audience and created a perfect demand for his upcoming debut album “Destiny Awaits” released in 11 November of 2014. The album(project) will feature hits like “I need new haters” which is play listed on Emalahleni FM and received airplay on KWEKWEZI fm too. His current single “I new new haters” is on high rotation having already hit stations like EMALAHLENI FM, Tshwane Fm (+ Top 40), KWEKWEZI FM , to name but a few up to this point. The stage is now set for the debut of his smash hit single video #IneedNewHaters which will elevate this highly talented rapper into even greater heights. HermaineM has now been tested in all breading grounds of the South African Hip Hop scene which reinforced the decision to release his debut album DESTINY AWAITS which is available in over 10 digital online stores.
