The International Journal of Sociology is a peer-reviewed academic journal that covers the field of sociology with a global perspective. The journal's editor-in-chief is Sandra Marquart-Pyatt (Michigan State University). It was established 1971 and is currently published by M.E.Sharpe which was acquired by Routledge 1 November 2014.
